My good friend Joe Frazier, member of the Chad Mitchell Trio, is off to the hospital this morning to have a pacemaker installed. Good thoughts going up for his full and speedy recovery.

Mary, please wish him the best from Bruce in Canada. Let him know they can now install them and have them operate in 3/4, 4/4 or 5/4 time. I understand the 5/4 time is also called the Brubeck Ticker.

The pacemakers also do 9/8, 2/2, and 13/16ths. The last is only in the more expensive models.

Ever since Oregon//Miami I have been with family trying to understand how in the world we finally met after 40+ years listening. Dad and brothers all wish you the best. Now mom wants to come(I think she has a thing for Chad), as you know, the third times a charm!

I have been collecting some very special tokens I want to give you, Mike and Chad. I see you are to be in Arizona in 2013?? you know where I'll be, in the front row banging my hands for you guys, you're the Greatest!!!! and Sally Ann, with Roger Young,, I would be interested in expieriencing those moments with ya'll. Both excellent songs!! Tell Alan to keep his ears to the west!!
