Anyone here a fan of The Tractors - Steve Ripley's country boogie band from Tulsa? I've just been replaying the first two albums after not hearing them for a long time - and remembering why I found them so great: good songs, great players and playing, including guests such as Leon Russell, Bonnie Raitt and Ry Cooder.

"Settin' The Woods On Fire" - just playing as a write. Solid beat, great steel guitar and piano - excellent stuff. "Blue Collar Rock" is also a favourite.

I'm not a great fan, but surely "Baby Likes To Rock It" must have been one of the funniest music videos ever?

I think The Sana Claus Boogie is possibly my favourite Christmas song.

Mind you, I play all sorts of rubbish at Christmas ...

It's a long time since I've seen it, but I recall a 'ghost' underground train pulling into a station, and a lone passenger boards, to find himself in the middle of a 'wild party', with all the 'wild party-goer' stereotypes hammed up fully OTT in the video; as the song ends, the train pulls into the next station, and the passenger leaves, wondering what the hell has just happened to him!

As in The Tractors - Baby Likes To Rock It. Great to see this again. It's even slicker, cleverer, and funnier than I remembered it!

(My previous attempt at this reply went down a black hole ... Rrrr!)
