Subject: Lyr Req: I'll ride through the highlands... From: GUEST,justcurious Date: 27 Jul 12 - 01:44 PM Has anyone ever heard this song? Just these few lines were sung in a 1965 episode of TV's The Virginian, "The Horse Fighter," and I've drawn a blank at BMI and ASCAP and at Googling them. Was it made up for the show or does the song exist? It went like this (to a waltz tune): I'll ride through the highlands, I'll ride through the low, And I'll meet you someday Where the green waters flow. |
