Subject: Tech: Pioneer DEH-1300 MP car CD player From: Bonzo3legs Date: 30 Jul 12 - 04:07 PM The original cassette player in my Honda Civic died last week, so I had one of these cheap CD players fitted at our local Halfords today. Not only does it have an aux input at the front, it will play mp3 files from CD RW discs. The price - £89 including fitting. |

My replacement, a Sony, has Aux and USB inputs, plays radio, CDs and MP3 CD-Rs like Bonzo's. Not tapes, though. It is shiny black, not semi-gloss like everything around it, but fitting was a doddle. Just went to an auto parts store, told them which car, which radio, and they sold me specific adaptors, plug to plug. Anyone want to buy a Camry radio with only two tries left on the security code and a 5-disc changer that goes in the boot? The car battery died and the previous owner had changed the code. Make sure that you know YOUR code! |

It is supposed to play mp3 files from a CD-RW but must rely on very specific tagging of files, which the manual is not at all clear about. |
