Subject: a big thanks From: muppett Date: 31 Jul 12 - 07:42 AM Hiya, A big thanks to all of you that donated to the charity walk I recently completed (200 miles from Bowness on Windermere to Whitby), Particularly to The FILO Folk club and the Black horse in Whitby and the regulars of The Castle in Bradford and Norland Social club. I managed to complete it with only a small blister on me foot, despite having to walk most of it in a pair of Crocs as I discovered a hole in me boots early on in the walk. So the money raised will be split between the Children's Liver unit at Leeds General Infirmary and the Children's Liver Disease Foundation. Once again Thank you. |
