Subject: RE: Finale 2011 free version-safe dwnlwd? From: Joe Offer Date: 15 Aug 12 - 04:22 PM I've always used Noteworthy Composer, so I have never taken the time to really learn to use Finale. I've known people who use Finale Notepad and swear by it. I think it has the features most people need (unless they're doing symphonic orchestration), and it's free (and a completely safe download). -Joe- |

I don't see anything free at the site other than trial versions, however. Quite often, when you click to download, you'll be offered "authorized download sites" so that you can pick one close to home, but I don't know if Finale does that. The ones listed on the pubishers site generally can be trusted. John |
