Difficult as it is to say anything good about a man who sells BANJOS for a living Frank Murphy at Frailers is one of the best top man.

Great guy in charge. I bought a Martin/Vega from him some years ago over the phone and he provided a case-free postage -spare strings- a strap and a capo. I recall he told me that he started off selling jeans but people brought him instruments in payment of debts so he changed tack to what we have today.

Greater variety but not nearly as much choice for guitars and banjos. Ok for cuatros etc

Agreed Alex. Frailers in Runcorn is the top place to go for Guitars and Banjos in the North West. They have some great top notch second hand instruments.

Went to Frailers in Runcorn today - fantastic selection of new and s/h top quality guitars and banjos. The owner's a great guy too. Pay a visit.
