Subject: Where to go in South Wales. From: GUEST Date: 01 Sep 12 - 05:53 PM My wife and I are about to move to the lovely Gower Peninsula in Wales after deliberating for a long while. We currently are fortunate to have good local sessions and also play for a local Clog side all of which we will be sad to leave. Obviously we want to replace the void that this will leave and would be really grateful for any information about the folk scene around south Wales. My wife plays the fiddle and I play the melodeon (both to a reasonable standard) and would love to get involved not only with local sessions (we even know a few Welsh tunes) but also, if possible, playing with a dance/ clog side. Can anyone help? |
