Good morning, Friends of Bound for Glory!

............Mary Ascenzi, Phil's wife, .... says it's OK to share that Phil was diagnosed this week with a brain tumor.

Surgery yesterday afternoon and evening took longer than expected, and did not successfully remove the entire tumor.

Over the next few days, Phil and Mary and the doctors will be discussing and deciding on the next steps in treatment.


Phil has a tough road ahead of him, and all of our support will continue to be key! Mary says he won't likely be up for visitors or calls today, but cards are always welcome in care of the Friends of Bound for Glory, P.O. Box 173, Ithaca, New York 14851.

Meantime, join us this Sunday night for the live show or on the radio as we welcome Robin and Linda Williams to BFG. Robin called Phil with his best wishes yesterday, and is looking forward to joining us. I'll be guest-hosting for the next few weeks, and look forward to seeing everyone there.
