To those who may be interested in a matter of such moment - a brand new Steve Young CD has just been released: 'Primal Young'. This is Steve's first new album in 6 years. Some great new originals, such as the beaut opening track 'Jig', some trad reworkings - 'East Virginia', 'Little Birdie'- and great covers of 'Handful of Earth' and 'Black Land Farmer'. Wondrous stuff! It is released in Australia by Shock - CTX121CD. It was recorded in California, but I do not know whether there is an American release. Shock has a website www.shock.com.au Follow the Roots & Retro option. I am off to listen to it again.
