Subject: RE: New internet radio show-AndrewMcKay/CaroleEtherton From: Crane Driver Date: 19 May 20 - 10:40 AM Hi all. That list is a cached page from our old website. We've moved the site to a new server now, there's up-to-date-ish lists of all the songs wot we wrote there, you can download the words as .pdf files if you want to learn any of 'em. That's what songs are for, of course - we didn't write 'em to have them mope about on bits of paper. Check the new site out here. There's also links to YouTube videos of a few songs from the site. Keep safe, Andrew & Carole |

Subject: RE: New internet radio show-AndrewMcKay/CaroleEtherton From: Mick Tems Date: 20 Sep 12 - 08:42 AM Hi Carole & Andrew, I'd like to do a news story on your internet folk show for Folkwales Online Magazine. Now I know why I've not heard from you lately, Carole - the labour of love involved in putting together this fabulous broadcast has been keeping you and Andy very busy! Hope to catch up very soon. |

Subject: RE: New internet radio show-AndrewMcKay/CaroleEtherton From: rumanci Date: 18 Sep 12 - 06:03 PM I enjoyed listening very much to old friends, old sounds, a couple of Mudcatters I had never heard before and some lovely songs all round. It was great to hear your good selves and a real joy to hear Maria Cunningham's "White Owl" - precious memories and such a powerful song. I hope these programmes are going to become a fixture for you two - a great asset to any community. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations. |

Subject: RE: Our new internet radio show From: My guru always said Date: 18 Sep 12 - 03:07 PM It's such a shame that your first show isn't being broadcast just now. The webpage does show that it ought to be 19.00-21.00 so as you say, something is definitely wrong. BUT, it's marvellous that you've got it so well sorted, and what a line-up, excellent stuff! I'm sure you'll keep us informed of progress here. I'll be watching to see when it's broadcast! Well done!!!!! |
Subject: RE: Our new internet radio show From: gnu Date: 18 Sep 12 - 02:16 PM Glad I checked this thread again. Thanks for letting us know. |
Subject: RE: Our new internet radio show From: Crane Driver Date: 18 Sep 12 - 02:10 PM Well, I don't know what's up, but that certainly isn't our show at the moment. We just put the show together - the station decides things like time and podcasts. Please email them on studio(at)radiomumbles(dot)com with all your questions. I've told the studio manager that something has gone very wrong, he's looking into it. Please do not adjust your computers - there is a fault in reality |

Subject: Our new internet radio show From: Crane Driver Date: 18 Sep 12 - 07:06 AM 'The Folk Show' on Mumbles Community Radio, with Andrew McKay and Carole Etherton. We've been invited to present a two-hour Folk Show on Radio Mumbles - a small volunteer community radio service for Mumbles and Gower, in South Wales. The show is available on the internet, so can be heard anywhere. We'll be concentrating on less well known folk performers from around the world, including many of our friends. The first show goes out tonight, Tuesday 18 September 2012, at 7pm (19:00) UK time (currently GMT + 1). The show will be repeated on Sunday 23 September at 10am. To listen in, go to the Radio Mumbles website . On the right of the home page, you will see "Listen Live", and a list of players, including Windoze Media Player, Realplayer and Quicktime. Choose your player and listen to the show. Constructive criticism welcome, but we've heard all the jokes about 'Mumbles' and speaking clearly, thank you (you know who you are). Be gentle with us - we're radio virgins. Andrew & Carole |
