After quite a break we have a new house concert chez TruBrit on October 6th.

The performers will be Calico Jack and you can find out about them Here.

As usual, doors open at 7.00pm concert starts around 7.30pm. There will be pot luck desserts during the interval - contributions and beverages welcome.

The cost for the South Portland house concert series is $15, all money goes to the artists.

They had to cancel from the PMFF less than a week ago. They had some health issues going on. I hope they have them sorted out.

We were sorry to miss them and I hope their problem has been resolved.

Unfortunately Calico Jack had to cancel the house concert this coming weekend. Paul is/has been in hospital and really isn't fit to travel or perform. Sending all good thoughts to both Jane and Paul and hoping that we can reschedule before too long.

Kind of you, Elmore, but TruBrit was hosting this one in her amazingly beautiful Victorian house. And we decided to fill in with a song circle so not all is lost. The performers are always welsome back when health issues are sorted out.

DO get to see them when and if possible. Your time and ears will be rewarded. They are an institution at nautical sings and other events in these parts and Janie has written many wonderful songs.
