The second festival celebrating the Life and Times of one of the Scottish Martyrs, Thomas Muir of Huntershill (whose efforts enabled the Common Man to win the right to vote) takes place in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, beginning this weekend. Check the website for details of all the events - - I am attending a concert tomorrow, Saturday 22 at the Fort Theatre, Bishopbrigg, to hear various performers including Iain Ingram, who has written two songs (so far!) about Thomas Muir.
Thomas Muir and the other Scottish Martyrs should be remembered and celebrated for what they achieved on our behalf!
