KVG Labs Aardvark microphone £50
(omnidirectional condenser mic)

That last mic is pretty obscure. www.kvglabs.com is the manufacturer's website. But I've recorded some sound samples of acoustic guitar and also of vocals, that give some idea of how the mic captures sound. (Tho bear in mind they were recorded in my non-acoustically treated living room, of course, rather than a recording studio.) Anyway, Aardvark sound samples here:
