Well, ol' spiritual ballads are very much part of my past... I believe that song has been covered by about every hillbilly band worth its salt... I like it and I have always loved Loretta...

BTW, she and Jack White (White Stripes) did a CD together a few years back which was mighty tasty...


I like to mix a spiritual into a 45 minute set just for good measure...

"You gotta move" is one of my favorites...

Just a Closer Walk With Thee is a good one too. Hyms were made for slide guitar.
