Just heard the sad news that John Bond (Penny Black Distressed Gentlefolk) has lost his battle against cancer.

He will be missed by all in the Fylde area: he has been part of the local folk scene for most of his life

Very sorry to hear to hear this, He and Pete were my heroes. John was lovely. The best straight man to Pete.

Pete just e-mailed and I sent my sympathies, but I would like to publicly express them again.
