Thinking of buying one. Any good? Decent tone? I understand that unlike other makes, they have a truss rod in their necks.

I don't know much about their classical line but Godin guitars are rated highly on Mudcat as giving great value at an affordable price. I would expect that LaPatrie would have a quality heritage similar to its siblings Norman and Seagull.

Well. I got one in a trade. Nice tone. Projects well. New strings should make it only better. I like it alot better than the Yamaha I got for $45.
