Karen was found unconcious, by Dal after he locked up on Saturday night and was taken, by amulance, to Medway Hospital. I am not fully aware of the facts, but it seems that she may have had an adverse reaction to the injection of a pain killer, into here spine, earlier in the week. Hopefully her stay will be short. I'll keep you posted

This is very worrying. I don't know how she manages to keep so sunny most of the time (indeed Dal likewise). I really think she must have a fusion. Soon.

Poor Karen. Dal must have been shocked when he found her. She must have been suffering to have needed the injection. Then to find it has adverse side effects as well. Lots of love from The Spotty ones for a speedy recovery.

Karen is out of the ICU and is now in the critical ward, so it is going the right way. Dal is knackered, but still smiling

Karen was discharged today, and is staying with her daughter, Hanna. She is not well enough to stay at the pub, with all the stairs. Also it will be some time before her back will allow her to bend enough to give Dal a good night kiss
