Saturday 10th November, the post-Warburton Souling Play bash.
The session is predominantly, but not exclusively, English - singing, music, good beer....all the right ingredients for a good do.

Oh, and the year's final performance of the Warburton Souling Play.
More info here

JJ

....of course you all knew that the bash will be at the Saracen's Head in Warburton.
So I didn't REALLY need to remind you....did I?

Notice that Bellowhead have been dipping into the JJ songbook for the new album. At the Saracen's Head you could hear them sung by the maestro!

Indeed it's always a good session - to end a good season of Souling.

I always look forward to the night.

I'm going to try and catch you somewhere!

[The other half is bowling on Friday and I'm working until ten on Saturday :-( I suppose you didn't really need to know that ;-) ]

You could always come along after work on Saturday evening - we'll be playing at full steam at that time!

Hey Brakn, the Play's off out again this week. You can catch them in Sale and Urmston area this evening, Altrincham and Hale tomorrow and of course the 'big dooo' on Saturday. There's pretty good details of what goes on here: http://www.larchfieldhouse.co.uk/Souling/Souling2012/Itinerary2012.html

And as per this thread, don't forget the session afterwards in the Saracen's Head - 9.30 util, well, late :-)

No (bread) stick about the Sainsbury's shirt...just bring yerself, yer mandolin - and Mrs Brakn of course!

It's been a tremendous season so far, I think I'll need to lie down in a dark room for a while before Saturday's bash.

See you Saturday.

JJ
