Subject: Obit: Alan Tipple - Singer & musician From: Bob the shantyman Date: 25 Oct 12 - 06:04 PM I knew Alan only briefly as a friend. His music was exceptional and his recordings are a delight to the ear. I first met him as a member of Beaux Psaltery in the seventies and had the pleasure of hosting his guest performance at The & Whistlers FC in Stourbridge. When we last met he was living in Malvern with his partner Janet. Any news of his wherabouts from 1985 to the present would be gratefully received. Thankyou |
