Vectis is the Latin name for The Isle of Wight. I can foresee some engineer and logistical problems in moving a fairly large island from the Solent to the archipeligo that borders the Pacific Ocean.... and when they get it there where are they going to locate it?

I don't know if I will make this Auckland festival but hope so, it would be great to meet Gurney and Little Robyn after all these years.

I have only been to Wellington in January when the clubs are all shut for summer so maybe I will get down there once I have settled in.

I will have the kettle on waiting for you Splotty, Dame and Brian. Will you be at Katikati? That looks like it will be my local club.

Sandra - I may well hop the ditch one day and visit Oz.
