Music in/near Brixham 23/24 Nov?

My family is having a do at Brixham on those dates, and the subject of music pubs has been raised. Not easy to find out what gigs there might be there on those dates - does anyone have any information?

According to the Devon Folk Diary there's a mixed session in the Crown & Sceptre St Marychurch every Friday.

Thanks for that - my sister has found that two pubs might have live music, but it isn't entirely clear what sort. And I'm not sure just what is in mind, either. Just hoped I might find someone to give a bit of a personal recommendation. (My other sister likes jazz as well as folk.)
