I'm afraid the website quoted above seems to have expired. Our Myspace page is more up to date: www.myspace.com/crownstreetband |

Subject: Review: Crownstreet (UK) From: Leadfingers Date: 08 Nov 12 - 07:28 PM Just back from Maidenhead where I was UTTERLY P'D off with Crownstreet < href="http://www.crownstreet.org.uk/">Website who were our guests tonight ! I dont mind a good song writer and I DO like a good arrangement ,and I can well appreciate a good singer , but when I am presented with four people who are ALL very competent musicians on such a variety of instruments , who ALL sing, and can present an evening of such variety as we had tonight , all I can say is I am P'd off in Spades ! Its a LONG time since I even considered an Alto Sax as a Folk instrument , let alone TWO in Harmony ! Plus Flutes , Whistle , Recorder Guitar and Melodeon (with just a touch of Bandoneon) and a good level of natter in between . For what its worth I would reccomend them to ANYBODY looking for a good act to book . |
