At least by then he will not have to deal with Mike Harding's (who?) fan club so that will be a great relief to him.

Tedious corporate former BBC insider returns - headhunted with no open application process. Just fat wads of cash for the headhunters. Already spotted rambling on about the "fantastic" "wonderful" BBC and its "marvellous" journalists ... which, if I remember correctly, is rather why the other chap was pushed to resign. Never mind, it's just colossal amounts of licence tax down the drain.

Time to split up and shrink the behemoth.

Several hundred TV channels - and virtually the only ones that ever show anything worth watching are the BBC ones (apart from repeats of BBC shows on non-BBC channels).

I think paying any civil servant £400 000+ is ludicrous. Thats half a lifetimes pay for ordinary people and they get it every year.
