Lovely Wheatstone 50 key special Anglo currently on Ebay starting at £4,500, from Dublin. Basic CG with lots of extras, drones etc. Aeola with what looks like ebony ends. 1926 so a bit later than mine.
Seller is looking to sell to a younger player who can do all the extras justice.

It does look in very good condition, still with the gold tooling on the leather straps, it's been well looked after, and with new bellows:

Vintage Wheatstone 50-Key Anglo Aeola Concertina C/G

For such a top-of the-range spec it's a very reasonable price- for anyone who has the money it looks like a good investment.

I'd love to have a play... :)

Ah, thanks Peter, I've now read the thread.

Nothing suspect about the instrument though, by the sounds of it, just unorthodox selling technique....

I'd love to have a play... Yeah, me too. I've only ever played one Aeola before and that was an ME Wheatstone DGG. I bet this one's got a lovely tone.
