On Saturday I attended a house concert for the first time - but not the last. Lynn and Lindy, based out of Texas, bring their original songs to living rooms across the country (in this case Connecticut). Tight vocals, accompanied by guitar, mandolin, and harmonica, run from folk to jazz to just plain fun.

Lynn and Lindy mingled with the 40 or so people, enjoying a wonderful hour or so of potluck and community. After their show, the evening continued with lots more music, with both performers joining the jam for an all-around great evening.
