When my son was young - many years ago now - we used to watch a BBC children's programme called "The Adventure Game". It was a series of puzzles featuring dragons and anagrams on the word 'dragon'. There were 4 series of the programmes and Series 3 used this piece - Grieg's "Norwegian Dance No 2" - as it's theme tune.

I've always loved the tune so pulled the piano score apart and arranged it for tenor guitar, mandolin and guitar. It's transposed from the original Eb to D and each instrument takes a part in the melody and variations. All the instruments in this video were made for me by my old friend, fellow band member and local luthier, Ian Chisholm [http://www.ianchisholm.co.uk/] from Ditchling in Sussex in the UK.

It's always sounded a little Christmassy to me, so here it is in seasonal mood:

Norwegian Dance No 2 (Grieg)

Very nice tune very nicely played and as I listen to tunes I imagine words in my head and the last little bit seems to say "Soggy Semolina"
