I actually quite like Christmas, as long as I don't have to go anywhere near shops so was dead chuffed when I got my Christmas shopping all done in a shade under 1 hour 45 minutes - my last port of call was HMV records, and as I went through the checkout the lad asked if I wanted a Michael Buble CD for £2.99?

He gave me a rather funny look when I told him that I would sooner have the nonovirus, not recognising my tongue firmly in cheek!

It then struck me that most of the shops I'd been to had these CDs on the checkout which made me wonder if this crooner has knocked Cliff Richard off his perch as chief seasonal irritant.

Is this Bublonic Plague universal?
