I don't recall a single one of his posts. Before my time, I think.

Didn't somebody find a video of him singing a sea shanty or something like that?

Unfortunately, I was new to Mudcat, and new to internet forums in general, near the end of MG's time. I'm sure I would just skip his posts now, as I, like you, do with, um, 'a certain name or two' ....

Martin did not bother me at all. I just skipped every post that had his name attached. That practice is serving quite well at present. When I see a certain name or two, I blissfully skip ahead.

"I think he enjoyed pushing peoples buttons on the Cat!... He obviously still gets a few wound up even now......"

Oh yeah, it was all in good fun. Wasn't it just hilarious when he mocked another member concerning the death of that member's child? I'm still chuckling over the way people got wound up over that!

He obviously still gets a few wound up even now......

I can't cite the threads, but I think it has been previously established that the Martin Gibson Kendall is referring to is not the person who posted here with that "handle."

If it is "him", I would listen to his music but I would still like to meet up with "him" in a dark alley and mess him up for what he posted here at Mudcat and I am not the only one. He caused a LOT of people a LOT of grief.

Some have E'd and PM'd me he is back under a different name. I do not believe that. Maybe that's just a naive wish on my part?

He was playing an acoustic guitar with a pickup. I couldn't see the headstock so don't know what brand it was.

I've often wondered about this man called Martin Gibson. If this is the same person I have to say, he knows his way around a guitar. I just saw and heard him on local TV. I'm not fond of electric instruments, but he made this one sound very good.
