Subject: Tune Req: dots for Widow's Lament for her Husband From: Phil Cooper Date: 06 Jan 13 - 10:30 PM Hi, I was needing to send a pdf document of the melody of Widows Lament for Her Husband Killed at Culloden from the Fraser collection. Normally, I would agree with the sentiment of "buy your own copy of the Fraser Collection..." I actually have the hard bound copy and the spiral bound one already. When I was actually looking where I thought they were, they were both gone. I believe they got shuffled somewhere else in the house when we had to do a major cleaning, so I think they will turn up sometime. In the meantime, I had promised our violin player buddy a copy of the music for a gig this coming Sunday. Does anyone know where there might be an online version of the tune with notes, not ABC. Thanks. |

(You need cookie enabled for the site and have to accept a disclaimer on the next page after you click; it's safe!). If the tune is the same as A Lady to her Husband who was killed at the Battle of Culloden it's on page 85 (103 in the pdf). Mick |

If I need to get another copy of my Fraser collection, I can go there. I know my copies are still in the house someplace. I just have to remember my frame of mind when I put things in other places. We were trying to clean the house for a house concert. Usually I try to think of putting things where I can remember. But I failed this time. |
