Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: Girl Friday Date: 14 Jan 13 - 09:30 AM Seems not.... shall we assume it's second weekend in September ? |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: Midchuck Date: 14 Jan 13 - 09:59 AM What kind of deal? Who's offering what to whom? P. |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: maeve Date: 15 Jan 13 - 07:16 AM This? http://www.dealfestival.co.uk/ If so , the website lists 2013 dates as Friday 28 June - Sunday 7th July. If not, please ignore. |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: Richard Bridge Date: 15 Jan 13 - 02:37 PM No, that's the other Deal Festival, not what used to be called Deal Maritime Folk Festival and lost official funding last year but was run on a volunteer basis by Ray Fielder. If it is second week Sept that is likely to clash with Knockers. That's why I'm trying to firm up (ooh-er- matron). |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: maeve Date: 15 Jan 13 - 02:44 PM Oh well...sorry. |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: Richard Bridge Date: 15 Jan 13 - 06:25 PM No, thanks for trying. Amazed no-one has the shizzle. |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: maeve Date: 15 Jan 13 - 10:04 PM Aha! 16-19 September, 2013. The article gives a link to the festival's website, but when I clicked on it the screen read "hacked by a hacker". |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: maeve Date: 15 Jan 13 - 10:35 PM The link above is now down, and the dates don't make sense for 2013. I give up! |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: Girl Friday Date: 16 Jan 13 - 01:27 PM I just clicked on it. It's a review of last year's festival, and as maeve says it gives hacked by a hacker. |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: Richard Bridge Date: 16 Jan 13 - 03:09 PM I've messaged Ray Fielder on facebook to see if he is doing it again this year. |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: The Barden of England Date: 17 Jan 13 - 03:48 AM I believe it's usually the 3rd weekend in September which makes it 20th September 2013, but I could be wrong. I really felt for Ray Fileder last year and wouldn't be surprised if he said never again mind you. John Barden |
Subject: RE: Deal 2013? From: Girl Friday Date: 17 Jan 13 - 10:57 AM Quite so John. Can't count lately. Thanks for investigating it. |
