Marlings Morris is a Women's North West Clog side based in Edenbridge in Kent. We are in desparate need of new dancers - no experience needed.    We are very friendly and - dare I say it -pretty good, but we are at rock bottom as far as numbers are concerned and are reluctantly having to refuse bookings. Anyone out there interested in joining us?

Absolutely right, they are friendly, they are good dancers and do lots of other folk stuff in the south east and their fame has even spread across to South Wales. Check their website out.

Are you based in Maidstone or Edenbridge? You say Edenbridge but the website says Maidstone. Lots of cloggers in Maidstone but I don't know any that would travel to Edenbridge. Let me know and I'll ask around. :)

It's all about sex. People forget this about folk dancing.

If you are a female side, get a young male muso with abs. Fiddle under chin. Leather jerkin flying. Voila! Quality of musicianship optional. I could name one but I'm not THAT much of a bitch.

If you are a mixed side get a young female dancer (one who can really dance with added pheromones - I could name two but I won't) with abs, take the middle out of her costume, and fight the young men off with sticks. Or vice versa.
