I heard an Irish pipe band playing a jig called Molly Quinlan and it was the same melody used for The Day We Went Tae Rothsay-o.
Does anyone have any info on this?

Jim, I found it referred to as   Jig: Molly Quinlan's   and also Molly Quinlan's Jig. I don't know whether that will be helpful.

Thanks, 999. I really wanted to know if anyone knew when it first appeared under this name.
