Subject: They're Shooting in the Streets, Miguel From: GUEST,Sam A. Robrin Date: 25 Jan 13 - 12:49 AM Nearly fifty years ago (exactly forty-eight next month, according to one source) I heard a song sund by Nancy Ames on the TV show THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS that spooked the snot out of little 10-year-old me. I've managed to track down the title--"They're Shooting in the Streets, Miguel" or possibly just "Shooting in the Streets"--and learned that the composer was Lan O'Kun, but beyond that, I have no information. Does anyone know where a recording can be found, or even just the lyrics? |
