Subject: Obit: Ann Rabson RIP (January 2013) From: Mary Katherine Date: 30 Jan 13 - 09:26 AM Am very sorry to pass along the news from Alligator Records president Bruce Iglauer that blues singer and musician Ann Rabson died this morning after a long struggle with ill health. She was a founding member of Saffire-The Uppity Blues Women, as well as a solo artist who played piano and guitar and sang, and she was an altogether delightful person to know. She will be greatly missed. |
