I've just found a 30 minute BBC radio programme in my collection called Folk 78. It features Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger, with Neil MacColl, in concert. The programme seems to be one a series, under the general title 'Folk 78' and it starts with Johnny Sangster and closes with Legal-Illegal.

If anyone has knowledge of this programme or series, I'd be interested in finding out the date of transmission, where and when the concert was recorded, and who the announcer is. I can't remember this series at all, so if anyone can tell me how I came by this one recording, that would also be helpful, but I'd think highly unlikely.

Many hopeful thanks.

Was it on a Thursday night Radio 2? I have a cassette somewhere with a similar set which included "Child Owlett" and one of their own songs "A Nation of Animal Lovers"

Ewan and Peggy's broadcast for Folk 79 was aired on 13 Feb 1979.
I do not have an easily accessible note of the set list right now.

Thanks folks, and excuse me while I wipe the egg off my face. It all comes back to me now, including the fact that I downloaded the programme from the source on the previous thread, to which I had also contributed.
