David dropped in for a visit today. It was really nice to catch up on the news and to look back on our long time friendship. He brought back my old Gibson so I let him take my octave mandolin. He said he wants to use it to write a song.

I'm glad you had a good visit with Dave, Kendall. I haven't had a visit with him since we moved to the Boondocks.

Nice photos. I was able to see them because I'm on FB with my real name. When I searched there for you and saw photos of our mutual friends, I knew immediately I had the right person.

David and I go way back. 1977 as I recall.

We saw David at the Strawberry Park bluegrass festival (on the folk stage) last year, or maybe it was the year before. Got a free hug just for mentioning that I was a friend of Kendall's!
