Listen to 2 great musicians Saul Rose Melodeon and Maclaine Colston Hammered Dulcimer.

Mac doesn't start playing the dulcimer until 4 minutes into the song, but he is so brilliant.

It's OK, I wasn't offended... I'm not trying to say I'm a great player anyhow. The point of my site is to promote the musical instrument. If people like what I do musically it's a bonus :-) and I'm always interested to hear about other players I haven't discovered yet too.
If anyone has a few minutes spare and would like to participate in a short survey to help me assess how my site is doing, though, there's a link here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/S3PH8X5
Thanking people in advance...

Catspaw: I reread what I wrote above, and understand how it could be taken that way. All I really meant was to recommend a fine musician to those who enjoy the hammered dulcimer. Sorry if I offended anyone. For my penance, 5 extra minutes on the treadmill

Your implication Elmore is that Helen's site sucks eggs and only your guy can do it right.................Is that what you meant?

If you want to listen to the hammered dulcimer played the way it should be played. check out Walt Michael and Company tonight at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY. If you live somewhere else you can catch the show on line at Concert Window. 7 p.m. eastern time.

It's a nice site, Helen. I enjoyed listening to "If you will not have me," which I learned just a few months ago.

I play a mountain dulcimer, not hammered, but I hope your new site its a great success.

Hi, I went to your Web site...... but it's not yet started..... I take it is a bit like like a dulcimer and takes a bit of tuning before playing a tune ?
