Subject: RE: help needed; wulftone guitar From: Big Al Whittle Date: 26 Feb 13 - 03:12 AM Thanks Bruce. I'll mention that( with a serious look on my face) when I take it back to the bloke who's serviced it. However my insights into practical matters of every kind have to be kept clandestine for reasons of idiocy. |

If that's ok look for a warp where the neck meets the body as in look up and down the neck as though you were peeping your eyes above the deck of an aircraft carrier--loog along the neck from the nut end then the bridge end. If that ain't it, look to the gauge of bass string you're using. After that, I'm hooped. |
Subject: help needed; wulftone guitar From: Big Al Whittle Date: 25 Feb 13 - 10:50 PM got this horrible wulftone on the 12th fret of the 6th string. I've had it in for a service - £120 - but withinn weeks its back. what causes this awful noise - sounds like is catching on something, but I can't think what. Its had a new nut and bridge piece. Only got the guitar bout two years ago - Yamaha LLX16 - so top of the medium price range. I don't want to chuck it, but I play often enough in public for it to be more than a private annoyance. I know it sounds selfish and immature but I just want it to work, I can't devote my life to buggering about with it, hospital visits etc. |
