I've just worked out that there are about 180 performers who have tracks up and running on Music Well. Many also lurk here.

Paul Vens. If you read here you have 15 tracks on Music Well, when the recommended limit is 4, so you should cough up at least £25.

If we all chipped in£6 each, that would be £1,080 and would certainly help out Phil, and demonstrate our commitment. My £6 goes in now.

This great resource for alternative online folk music is under threat of closure, so I have just heard, through lack of finance. It would be a great shame to lose it. Would it be too much to ask those of us who can afford it to chip in a few quid via the site online donation system or by cheque to the site owner?

I'd hate to see it go.
