Looking for the full version of The Parting Glass, so far everywhere I've been on the internet only have 3 verses, I almost remember the last verse which is the one I need, (Oh a man may drink and not be drunk,oh a man may fight and not be slain, oh a man may court a pretty girl, and perhaps be welcomed back again) that's all I remember of the last verse, any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm booked for Saint Patrick's day and would like to end the night with that song. Thank You

That verse appears to be from another song, "Barnyards of Delgaty":

I can drink and not get trunk
I can fight and not be slain
I can lie with another man's wife
And yet be welcome to my ain

It is actually the first verse in the version recorded by Sam Henry in 1938, but no source is given in Huntington.

The rest of the verse is;

And since it is so ordered,
By a time to rise and a time to fall,
Come fill to me the parting glass,
Goodnight etc.

Good luck with the gig!
