Subject: RE: Oban folk From: My guru always said Date: 19 Mar 13 - 10:26 AM I recall learning Mary Mack from a lady named Kirstie in one of the Oban pubs many years ago, so there may be sessions still in town. A little further away is the island of Easdale (check web for access by local boat), where there used to be a cracking session on a Sunday afternoon. You'd definitely need to check that. Have a good week! |
Subject: RE: Oban folk From: GUEST,Guest TF Date: 19 Mar 13 - 12:24 PM Try skipinnishceilidhhouse.com. Should provide a decent class of real scottish music if it's open. |
Subject: RE: Oban folk From: Jack Campin Date: 19 Mar 13 - 12:29 PM Try searching for when this question has come up here before ("oban session site:mudcat.org" on Google). I've replied to one of those older threads. |
