I'm going to be in Manhattan on a work trip from Wednesday 3rd April, heading up to MA on the 6th. I'm looking for non-work things to do (in addition to general sightseeing) and I'm wondering if there are any singing sessions on the Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday nights that people would recommend (3rd, 4th or 5th April)? The kind of thing I would enjoy most would probably be something along the lines of a Shanty session, or a Irish songs session, or anything with traditional ballad singing.
