The organisers of the festival and the landlords/ladies and staff, of the participating pubs would like to extend their thanks to all who attended over the Easter weekend. Thanks very much for your support and enthusiasm…we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Jim is right, for the first time we have moved into a profit situation, maybe only around £100 but good to see. We are moving onwards and upwards!

There is so much goodwill from people. We have had offers of help for next year which is great. The whole idea is for the Festival to grow in an organic way. It's not 'our' Festival, it's 'yours' and we will listen to what and how you want it to look next year

I also forgot to mention the two dance teams, Maltby Phoenix Sword and Cinquefoil Rapper who took the message out to the city centre, dancing in Fagan's, Dog & Partridge, Orchard Square, Shakey's, KIT and Riverside. They had a great time and served to remind the general public to give some money to something that they (the public) had no idea about! Maltby's Blindfold rapper was sight to behold, fortunately no-one was seriously killed. :-)
