Hi there, I am looking for a tablature for Forever by Roy Harper (off Sophisticated Beggar). The one that I always find doesn't sound round right or isn't in same tuning.

I know the song is in open D tuning, with a capo on 4th fret, but without tabs I'm not advanced enough to work out how to play it straight from the song, or from this 1 tutorial on youtube. He plays it too fast and doesn't show what he is playing.

Thanks

p.s. the one I always find is this one:

I always liked the version he did on Valentine. I didn't realize he played the song in open D. I've never tried playing it, so can't help you out on that front.

I just went over to youtube and searched Roy Harper forever and they had a live link from a show in 1969-70 of him playing, you might get some tips from that. I did a control c thing and I think this will get you to what I saw. roy harper forever   you may have to copy and paste it in to the youtube search. Maybe that will help.

Thanks, I've seen that video (I think). He plays it too fast for me. I have to start slow and gradually get faster... :(
