I visited the cork singers club, spailpin fanach pub ,last night sunday april 7 th, guest singers were jim macfarlane and ken wilson, just want to say how much i enjoyed the club and all the singers, a great friendly atmosphere.
the two guest were superb, plus a high standard of singers from the floor. Dick Miles

The boys were fantastic at the Goilin last Friday. Some great songs from both.

Thanks for the comments! Jim and I had a great time at each of the clubs including Derry and Roscommon.

Was good to see you at Cork Dick, But I thought I was singing with Jim Macfarland (sorry Dick couldn't resist)

Both very fine singers. The different styles of singing and songs complimented each other very well.

Exactly, Dick - it WAS! Words and phrases change meaning. Nowadays, more people know what a "charter" is than what a "chart" is (in the old sense).
