Thanks for that Mr Fingers - or may I call you Lead? Which brings me to my next question: is Liz the Squeak the name I should use or her proper name (whatever that is).
I am one of the boring old fashioned types who likes to attribute a song properly rather can up with lines like: "This is an old Irish traditional song called Fiddlers Green."

I had this, I recall showing it to Paul but a quick scan thro my stuff hasn't turned it up.
Have to go out but will look further if it doesn't turn up here.

I have searched but to no avail for the complete words to a parody of "The Galway Shawl" I heard some time ago. The thrust of it is about one of those "afterclub" folking things we used to do when young - called "going back for coffee" or something. Anyway, a geezer from the folk club goes back and insists on singing "The Galway Shawl" at great length and totally horribly.

I can remember the odd word here and there -

"He sang each note like an Irish setter"
"He went on for hours"
"And he sang it all in a Galway drawl"
"He had no something, no sense of rhythm, no sense of timing, no none at all"

Can anyone help me identify it? And preferably provide all the words?
