Subject: RE: New folk club in Stamford From: Zany Mouse Date: 21 Apr 13 - 08:22 PM Good to see this thread. We used to go to clubs around the area in years gone by. The first one I went to was in Ryhall and we even had one for a few weeks at our home in Broad Street when the club from the Brewery Museum lost their home. The last one we attended, before moving from Stamford, was in a pub belonging to Humphrey Smith - can't remember the name of the pub at the moment - but I suppose, in view of Humph's attitude over music, must be defunct now. All the best of luck for the future. Rhiannon |
