I vaguely remember a version that is not bawdy, but rather is racist and not a bit politically correct.
The tune and format are just too easy to write verses to.

A slightly different version I heard more than sixty years ago went:

“ Rubin,Rubin

I’ve been thinking

If this world were made of glass

All the people in creation

Would go sliding on their ass”.

    This was from a doctor who lived up the street from us in the small Pennsylvania town where I spent my early childhood.

Ed Cray ('Erotic Muse') noted that the tune for 'Reuben Reuben' is used for 'Caviar comes from virgin sturgeon' and 'The Winnipeg Whore'. Vance Randolph ('Unprintable') also noted its use for 'Winnipeg Whore' but neither Cray nor Randolph give any bawdy verses for the song 'Reuben Reuben' itself.

The first line seems to be derived from: Reuben and Rachel and seems to have given rise to several variations on the theme of your lines. See for example the spoofs here (half-way down the page): Reuben, Reuben. (also sometimes Rubin, Rubin).
