Kendall, I called Dr. Shapshay's ofc.. The person who I spoke to wasn't sure she should give his email out. She did, however, take a detailed note. Said he or she would get back to me.

Kendall, as I understand it the practice of which Dr. Shapshay is a part has been absorbed by the Albany Medical Center ("We are the Borg.."). Any self-respecting bureaucracy, absorbing another, will change everything whether it needs to be changed or not. It keeps them amused, I think, and makes them feel important.

Just seeing him for a precautionary checkup, Kendall. I had a scare a couple of years ago with a lump on my tongue, right where the stem of my pipe used to go years ago when I smoked (haven't smoked for 40 yrs now). Dr. Shapshay removed the lump. It appeared to be benign and has not returned.

The nice thing about my annual visit - apart from the fact that he's a prince of a man - is that he's always got a med student in tow and is willing to do a bit of extra checking out of things, using me as a demo subject (or lab rat?).

So it was that I finally got to actually sing with a scope down my throat this week and to watch my vocal folds at play. I've wanted to do that for years. I'm weird ? So sue me! It was fun. Just a different kind of music video.

Anyway, he asked for you.

Peter and Bobert, my Taylor IS a Taylor. H used to work at Martin, and he took his good ideas with him when he left to build his own guitars.
I've never heard anyone say anything negative about his BIG guitars. Can't say that about Martins.They have built some GREAT guitars, and some that didn't deserve the label.

I know this seems like a long drawn out affair, but making sure the cancer isn't coming back has been job one all along. No point in starting the rebuild only to have that come back.
